A proper 3-ply facial mask, has three layers – each performing its own specific function:
- An outer polypropylene fabric with hydrophobic treatment layer, which repels water, blood and body fluids,
- A middle micron barrier filter layer that is designed to filter particles expelled by wearer, blocking dust, pollen and
- An inner hydrophilic polypropylene fabric layer, which absorbs water, sweat and spit.
Characteristics and attributes:
- Lightweight, earloop mask is easy to put on and remove.
- Comfortable and highly breathable.
- Bi-directional pleats for increased facial comfort and fit.
- Infection control practices, patient care, clinics, lab, dental isolation and other medical procedures.
